Raising Eutychus

“Paul is a type of the apostolic church who is willing to leave the room where they are gathering, to go out and bring and prophesy life into the walking dead around us. The result was Eutychus was taking up alive and the whole church was comforted. I believe that like him, God wants to use us to raise up the next generation who are spiritually alive to the moving of God’s spirit and when we do, the whole church will be comforted. The question to ask is this: is there anyone willing to leave their comfort zones to go out, touch them, prophesy to them, and raise them up into a newness of life? They would be most fortunate if we, the former generation, would?”

The Power Of Prayer

“In all the ser illustrations, it was the people of God gathering together before God a prayer that changed their situations and circumstances and brought to fruition the supernatural intervention of God in their lives. That’s what took place with Peter in our text; that’s what took place in the lives of God’s people throughout biblical history, and I submit that is still what God wants to do through you and I. The ball is now in your court. The question remains. Will we take up our spiritual armament and begin to pray that God’s will, God’s purposes will be accomplished in our midst. If we will, I believe too will see God supernaturally intervene in the world in which we live.”

Sanctify Them

“We see that in Christ, we are set apart from the world, but we are also  set apart to God as we are continually sanctified by His Word. Finally, we are sent by the Lord to fulfill His work and purposes in the world that we live in.”

Inconvenienced

“In our text, in order to hear Jesus, the crowd had to be wherever He chose. Jesus would be at the Temple, early in the morning. It was at this inconvenient hour that those who inconvenience themselves to meet, at the hour he chose, heard the Son of God speaking the Word the them. I hope we showed you that god has consistently moved in people’s lives in a way that inconvenienced them. I contend that God is still moving today in ways that we might consider to be inconvenient.”

Foundations

“We need to build our live on God’s Word because it is a Firm Foundation.”

The Great Exchange

“In our text, Jesus was asking the woman at the well for something. What He was asking for opened a door for her to receive something so much better. What I hope we have seen today is that when God asks us for something, it is always for our benefit. We give Him what He wants, and He gives us back something infinitely better in this principle of “The Great Exchange.”

Revealing The Way

“We need to understand that while it is important that we speak and act in a godly manner, it’s also important that we point God out to those who are around us. In other words, it’s more than just living a godly lifestyle, we are actually called to be witnesses and purposely point others to and lead others to Christ.”

Godly Government

“I believe God put us on this planet to do something. To accomplish His will in the earth. Unless we begin to put His purposes at the forefront of why we are here, we will be rendered ineffective and instead of the Kingdom of God advancing, we will allow the enemy to continue to have his way. It won’t happen without you standing up and doing what you have been called to do.”

Leaving All

“Another temptation is again to take “control,” of your own life. What’s interesting is that Jesus wants you to have not just life, but a full life. But that life is not found by grabbing hold of it, but by constantly letting go. We must always remember, it’s not our life, but His. We are not just living for “now,” but for eternity.”

Walking Out The Word

“Our soul is typically defined as consisting or our mind, will, and emotions. That dimension of our being comes into the Kingdom with all the hurts, pains, and trauma that existed before we were “born again.” God’s grace is available to all, but it’s not automatic. We have to walk out the Word to experience His grace.”
