A Good Revelation Makes for a Healthy Body

"In this proverb, Solomon talks us several things that we looked at today. First, he tells us the light of the eyes makes glad ther heart. God's Spirit coming into our lives when we are born again affects the inner man and causes it to rejoice. But in the same manner, the Word of God contains an equally powerful and joyful consequence for the outer man because the Cross unveiled the work of God for the whole man. Solomon said it this way, "a good revelation makes the body healthy".

Horizontal Faith

“The thought that sparked this teaching was the idea that God’s answers to people’s prayers often come the them horizontally, that is, through the lives of other people. While unfortunately, everything that God has comes to us vertically, the fruit of that for many is experienced through the ministry of the horizontal.”

Faith Moves

It’s faith that pleases God and it’s faith that opens the door for the promise of God to pass through the spiritual realm and manifest in our natural, Physical lives. While there are many characteristics to faith, one characteristic of faith we focused on today is that faith acts, or another way of saying this is: faith moves.”

In our case, that would be our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We see this quality in Rebekah. It’s a quality that caused her to stand out in the search for a bride for Isaac. It is, I believe a quality that the Holy Spirit wants to bring forth in us today.”

The Prophet and Intercession

“The 5-fold prophet is supposed to equip the church to function prophetically. Too often, we assume that all training takes place in a classroom. Much of what we do today does, but training is not just information. We learn as much or more by what we see than what we hear. It’s not just words we speak, that is important, but it’s how we function that also equips believers, in this case prophetically, but also evangelistically, pastoral, teaching, and apostolically.”

The Righteous are “BOLD”

“In this crisis that we are facing in the world today, I believe that God has already prepared an answer for the problems that we are facing. The instrument that He chose to use to bring forth that answer is His Bride, the church. We are the means that God will use to bring God’s answers to crisis that we are facing.”

Elisha’s Ditches

“It’s my belief that God wanted to give a solution to the problems that these kings were facing. For whatever reason, Elisha was hesitant, but due to the circumstances, he sought God for the answer, and God willingly offered one. In the same way, I believe God wants to work though His people today, you and I, to bring His supernatural solutions to the problems that they are facing. We, unlike Elisha, May not always see a Jehoshaphat in their company that persuades us to seek the Lord on their behalf. But, if we have God’s love for people, we will know that it is His will to respond to their cry.”

Realizing The Promise

“Today, I likened the call of Elisha and its eventual fulfillment with what it can be to walk out a prophetic word or a prophetic promise in our lives. While all the Promises of God are, Yes, what we often don’t realize is that there is a process between the revelation and the ultimate manifestation of the Word of God in our lives. We saw that played out for us in Elisha, and we saw God’s faithfulness to him as he preserved there ought the challenges. I want to encourage you to do the same.”
