From A Slave To A Kingdom Mentality

Worship, true worship changes you.  As you see Him, you become like Him.  You no longer think like a slave, but as a child of a King.  Resources no longer are a liability that enslaves you, but a tool to be used to advance His will in the earth.

Presents vs Presence

It's God's Presence that makes these things of any value at all.  The promises of God without the Presence of God or as I titled the message, the Presents of God without the Presence of God is truly of little worth.  It's His Presence that gives life meaning and worth.

A Time of Testing

God is a good God who designed us to succeed and overcome.  Eventually, we will pass as long as we don't drop out of the class, out of the race, out of our walk with God.

What Do You See?

Many people see Jesus as the Messiah of Israel who came to save the lives of people from their true taskmaster, the enemy of their souls and free them from bondage to sin, sickness, and death, preserving them for life everlasting as He reconciles them to God.  How you see Jesus, and how you , in turn, act towards Him also determines what you receive!

Show and Tell

What we learn from this text is that we cannot and must not stop from talking about the signs, wonders, and miracles that God has done in us and for us.  These are the testimonies to His Works that bring glory to God and proclaim the Good News that brings others to trust in the Awesome, Miracle-Working God who we serve.

Silencing the Storms of Life

Just as a policeman has the authority to subdue a situation, just as a judge has the authority to silence an unruly courtroom, Jesus also has the authority to subdue and silence the chaos the enemy throws our way.  Jesus silenced a natural storm, a demonic storm, a storm of affliction, and a storm of death, and He can silence whatever storm you are facing in this life.

The Call of Moses

As God told the disciples that He was with them always, even to the end of the age, God had also told Moses that he would not go alone to accomplish this mission, but that God Himself would go with him.  God is the same yesterday, today, and forever, and as God did with Moses and the disciples, He will do the same for you.

Getting Rid of the Recordings

What we see here is not only confession of sins, but a willingness to be accountable to each other.  When that happened, the Word of the Lord grew mightily and prevailed.  That means the power of God was unleashed in their midst in an even greater way.

Bethel: The House of God

The House of God is defined as a place of Revelation, Promise, Worship, Prayer, and Surrender.  As the House of God, we should also find these characteristics in evidence, wherever the Presence of God is manifest, as the people of God gather together in His Name!

Pentecost

What we want to recognize is that Jesus' life and ministry is the prime example of what ours should be like as well.  Just as we saw with Jesus and the Apostle's ministry, so too has the Holy Spirit been sent by Jesus to give us everything we need to be a victorious, successful, faith-filled, overcoming child of God in this world.  With Him at our side, we are equipped for every situation we could ever face in life.
