Restoring the People of God Part 1

The first part of restoration is reconciliation with God.  It's restoring the relationship with God.  You've got your part to do and in response to it, God does His part.  In response to His sacrifice of love for us, in love we offer ourselves to God, and give ourselves to Him to demonstrate the goodness of God through the works that we do.

The Baptism of the Spirit of God

The experience of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit was not the exception, but was the normal Christian experience for all who would follow Him.  "For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call."  (Acts 2:39)

A Time Of Restoration

We saw that God accomplished His work of restoration progressively, and He did so through the power of the Spirit as Ezekiel prophesied the will of God thought the Word of the Lord.  So also, in this church, we are believing God's Word and God's will for restoration for the people in this church.

Prosperity Preventions

We have seen today that God's desire is for His creation is that we would prosper in every dimension of our lives.  He want us to succeed in those things He has set our for us to do in His Word.  

How Far Will We Go

Jesus loved us before we loved Him and sacrificed His life for us.  Like Him, we are to love the lost and out of love, sacrifice ourselves to win them.

The Call of Matthew to Follow Jesus

As we follow after God ourselves, and as we go about the everyday routines of our daily lives, we are to keep our spiritual eyes open to truly see those who are before us, enter into conversation with them with the hope that they will be lead to a place at the table with the Lord.

The Promise Revealed

Abraham wavered not at the promise of God revealed to him, while walking through the land of unbelief, doubt and the evident facts of both himself and Sarah being dead to the possibilities of having children.  Abraham gave glory to God fully convinced that God was able to do what He had promised.

Manasseh’s Journey To God

What God did in Manasseh, bringing him back to the place of his former position, now began to show itself through his life and his deeds.  So also, those who received the good news, now bring the fruit of God's work in their lives to the place where they live - their homes, workplace, and cities.

King Josiah and The Word of God

So we see that Josiah reveals to us the importance of not only seeking after God, but to do it according to the Word of God.  We are to serve God on His terms, not on ours.  What are His terms?  The will of God is found in the Scriptures that He has given us.  It’s found in the Bible. 

What Are We Fighting For

We are called to work for God; we are anointed to build the Kingdom as we fight to bring the purposed of God to come to fruition through our lives.
