Jesus is bringing new wine into the church.  This new wine is not something new as in the sense of never been seen before, but is new in the sense that it is a moving of His Spirit in and among us that requires flexibility to contain it.  In order to embrace this moving of the Spirit of God, we must be moldable and stretchable to embrace the move of God.

Our present choices should be guided by God's eternal Word in which are contained the eternal and benevolent promises of God for His People.

In faith, we must hear what the Spirit is saying to us, and then follow the leading of the Spirit when He speaks to embrace the change.  In faith we must hear what God is saying to us and change when we hear Him.

In faith, we must learn to change our clothes in anticipation of that which is coming.  It can’t be, when I see the change in the season, then I’ll change.  No, in faith, we must first change in order to facilitate and see the manifestation of that which God has promised.   In short, we have to have the NEW wineskin in place to facilitate the pouring out of the NEW wine.   

The true gospel creates a life too powerful to be contained in our pitiful little structures. This does not mean that the church should not have structure and order, but it must be one which is utterly flexible if it is to contain the true wine of the Spirit. We must let the life produce the structure, not the other way around.  - Rick Joyner

Moses was the man God had anointed to accomplish the mission of bringing the people into their divine destiny.  When the Israelites grasped this spiritual dynamic, they organized and created some structure to facilitate his mission. Consequently, they saw the power of God released in their quest towards their destiny in God.

Ultimately, it’s faith that possesses the promises of God. Faith is a lens that looks at life through a confident trust in God and what He says is true whether or not the circumstances we face agree or not. 

Jesus is the solution for whatever has “bit” us in life and is bringing death and destruction.  Jesus was lifted up that whoever would look to Him in faith, repenting and confessing their sin, would also receive God’s grace. 

Abram was asked to leave some things behind but what he was going to leave would pale in comparison to what God was promising to give him.  Sometimes to go forward in life requires that we leave things behind. It may seem that we are losing something, but in reality, we are in the overall context actually gaining something.

In Jesus’ temptations, He not only reveals to us the core of the enemy’s temptations, but He also equips us with the means to overcome. In His victory, we have victory.
