Faith Is Seen

What we learned today is that faith is laying hold of the unseen realm of hope and bringing it into the realm of reality. Faith is what opens the door for the power of the Word of God to be released into this natural realm, into the world we live in and into our very beings.

The Bible teaches us that faith is the evidence of things not seen. In other words, the Bible teaches us that you can see faith when it is evident in the lives of people. Faith is seen in the way people speak, and faith is seen in the things that people do

A Bountiful Eye

When we come to a place where we recognize God as Provider and realize that there is no lack in the Kingdom, we have begun to see through a new lens. We can now live life through the perspective of a bountiful eye. As a result, we can freely do what God desires knowing He is faithful.

Naomi Is Coming Back Home

Perhaps you find yourself in a situation that reminds you of Naomi and her predicament. I want you to know today that God is visiting His people once again. I want you to hear the call of God to come back home.

Like the prodigal, you don’t have to be completely well and whole to come back; you just need hear the Father’s call to you to come back and let our loving, and merciful God begin His work of reconciliation, healing, restoration in your life.

Come back home and He will save you. He will make you whole!

Let There Be Light

As we have seen, regardless of the people’s reaction, Jesus, as well as His disciples continued to shine the light of the gospel to those around them. It was their privilege, & their charge, to shine as they were commanded, not based on how the people responded. In fact, they prayed that God would empower them to do so even in the midst of opposition.

Beautifying The House of God

Jesus revealed His glory while He walked the earth, and now, as His body, we are still to reveal His glory. It begins by becoming a part of the House, but it doesn't end there. He continues His work by beautifying the House. That process is simply letting Christ shine in us and through us.

Bringing Freedom Into God’s House

God has been waiting for a generation of believers who understand their mission and choose to fulfill it. Unlike the house of Joseph, as we do so, we must do things His way, and not the way of the world. If we partner with the world, we continue to enable the enemy’s dominance. We must partner with God, and following His Word, bring His ways into the world where we live. Only then can we truly bring His Kingdom here.

“Let Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.”

God’s Restoration Process

This would not come to fruition until the coming of the Lord Himself. His way was to work from the inside out. He begins the work of restoration through the restoration of the human heart. As the Word is proclaimed, the Spirit of God stirs the people to restore the relationship with God, and thus Kingdom comes to us. Eventually it works its way in us and through us until it impacts the world in which we live. The ways of God are truly awesome!

Recapturing Bethel

What we learn from this today is that it’s not enough to simply have a big church with a big presence in a city. It’s dealing with the internal problems of the heart that are really key to bringing the Kingdom to bear in the land. That’s why the Word of God has to be our standardagainst the influences of the world in which we live. We are to learn it, live it and in doing so bring God’s Kingdom to bear in the world where we live. We are to influence the world.

The Origin and Results of Pride

I hope we have come to see that the sower of iniquity is an adversary. While defeated at the Cross, he continues to create enmity between the Creator and the Creation. One of the chief ways he does so is through the sin of pride. What I also hope we have learned is that in being aware of him, and his tactics, we can more readily partner with God to resist him.

The Bitter Waters of Marah

Thankfully, God was bigger than their attitudes, and bigger than the bitter waters they were facing. We saw in our text that Moses, instead of complaining, called out to God. God revealed to Him the answer to the dilemma they faced, and when Moses obeyed God’s Word, that supernatural life-giving power of God was released to turn the bitter water, sweet. It’s not simply knowing the Word, it’s obedience to it that releases God’s promises and power into our life.
