Seeing What Jesus Sees

 When He saw the multitudes, Jesus gave His disciples a task. He told them to pray for laborers. I believe that God wants us to recognize that with Him, problems can become catapults to something greater taking place in us and through us. We need to learn to see as Jesus sees. The needs of the people are not problems that hinder, but opportunities to display the glory of God with the purpose of setting people free.

Refining A Prophet of God

What we saw in this chapter is not only the will of God unfolding itself in the nation of Israel, but we also see the work of God unfolding in the life of one of God’s prophets. What we see is how God is working with Elijah to bring His ways to and through him. As I said before, the purpose of this study is to recognize the work of God taking place not just through Elijah, but the work that is taking place in Elijah.

Elijah who was called to be a prophet of God, but we see that the call had to unfold itself in Elijah’s life. There was a work to be done through Elijah, but God never stops working in Elijah. God was working to bring to fruition that which He had called.

Ephesians 4:1 (NKJV) I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called...

Philippians 2:13 (NKJV) ...for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.

Healing The Mute Man

John 14:12(NKJV) Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me,

the works that I do he will also; and greater works than these he will do,

because I go to My Father

We got a glimpse of how Jesus did the works He did Having this understanding can and should help us to become more effective in doing that which He has commissioned us to do.

Keep On Walking

We may be on the way down, or we may already resigned ourselves to the death that seems to be swallowing up our hopes and dreams to follow after Jesus. Worse yet, we may even have given up completely and been engulfed in the snares of sin itself.

The good news, no matter where you are in the process, is that Jesus is here. If you call to Him, just like with Peter, He too is right here to rescue you and bring you back to the boat and set you back on track to the fulfillment of your purpose and destiny in life. Will you get your eyes back on Him and call to Him today?

The Holy Spirit

God wants to save you, so you can be born again. If you don't have the spirit of God inside of you, being born again is not coming to church, not belonging to a church but having an experience were God cleanse you and comes dwells inside of you. You're born again! Born of the Spirit! Not only that your baptize in the Holy Spirit.

The Prayer of Faith

What we saw is that prayer is an important key to receiving healing in our lives. But it’s not just any prayer, it’s a certain kind of prayer. What we saw today is that it’s the prayer of faith that receives answer. It’s the prayer of faith that moves mountains

What we also saw is that it’s not the actual prayer itself that heals, but the God to whom responds to faith.

 

Loosing People From The Devil's Grip

It’s my contention that we, His Church, are called to bring the Kingdom of God into the world and demonstrate its superiority by going on the offense against the enemy by loosening people from the chains in through which they are bound.

God's Prescription

God’s Prescription for any situation we face is found in His Word. As we study it, the Spirit of God whispers His directions to us. If we hear Him and heed His remedy, we will find God’s grace at work in us to bring His power into manifestation in us and through us.

The Gospel

 What is the gospel? It means good news. What is the good news? It is of course summed up on one word – Jesus. What exactly did Jesus come to do? Did He come to rescue people from hell. Yes He did. Did He come to lead us to heaven when we die? Yes He did. But that’s not all. He came to restore our original purpose as His crowning creation created in His image and likeness.

To say it another way, Heaven is our destination, not our assignment. Our assignment always has been - earth. Until such time as we transition out of this world, the Church’s divine purpose is also, “to fulfill all righteousness.” It is to, in partnership with God, bring His nature and his ways into this planet that all who are “in Christ,” have once again been given authority and power to steward in His name.
