The Prayer of Faith

What we saw is that prayer is an important key to receiving healing in our lives. But it’s not just any prayer, it’s a certain kind of prayer. What we saw today is that it’s the prayer of faith that receives answer. It’s the prayer of faith that moves mountains

What we also saw is that it’s not the actual prayer itself that heals, but the God to whom responds to faith.

 

Loosing People From The Devil's Grip

It’s my contention that we, His Church, are called to bring the Kingdom of God into the world and demonstrate its superiority by going on the offense against the enemy by loosening people from the chains in through which they are bound.

God's Prescription

God’s Prescription for any situation we face is found in His Word. As we study it, the Spirit of God whispers His directions to us. If we hear Him and heed His remedy, we will find God’s grace at work in us to bring His power into manifestation in us and through us.

The Gospel

 What is the gospel? It means good news. What is the good news? It is of course summed up on one word – Jesus. What exactly did Jesus come to do? Did He come to rescue people from hell. Yes He did. Did He come to lead us to heaven when we die? Yes He did. But that’s not all. He came to restore our original purpose as His crowning creation created in His image and likeness.

To say it another way, Heaven is our destination, not our assignment. Our assignment always has been - earth. Until such time as we transition out of this world, the Church’s divine purpose is also, “to fulfill all righteousness.” It is to, in partnership with God, bring His nature and his ways into this planet that all who are “in Christ,” have once again been given authority and power to steward in His name. As the Lord Himself said:

In the beginning pages of the gospel of Matthew, we have seen a few instances of how God speaks to His people. The purpose for studying these is so that we can be open to the Lord speaking to us. God is still speaking to His people today.

David's Destiny Disclosed

How many of God’s people have forfeited their destinies because instead of remaining steadfast in faith through the storms of life, they caved and allowed the enemy to steal, kill, and destroy their lives, and their destiny?

We can learn from David and like him, when things seem darkest, let’s likewise strengthen ourselves in the Lord, and instead of caving, let’s rally in God, stand against the enemy, and take back all that he seeks to steal from us, from the people of God, and from the generations coming after us.

Faith is much more than just know about God and believing that God can, it’s a belief that God can and will do it for us that in turn moves us to act.

The Word of God is Power! That power is released into our lives through faith. Without faith, much, if not most of what God wants to do in us and for us will lie unused, and unappropriated. 

 

Committing To and Trusting God

Ps 37:5 (ESV) Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him, and he will act

We can trust that God is working out the thing that we have committed to Him. It is the continuing attitude of trust on our part that keeps the channel open through which God intervenes in our lives and works out all that needs to be done.

 

What Are You Looking At

We are to look upon Jesus, the Word made flesh, with eyes of faith. Put your faith in God. Put your faith in His Word, put your faith in Jesus! He is here, and if you look upon Him with eyes of faith, like the Israelites, you too can experience Him as your Savior, and you can experience Him as your Healer.
