Resisting Evil Authorities

This seems clear: all authority is established by God and should be given absolute obedience. Those who do not are in rebellion against God

God first said to man, “It is not good that man should be alone” (Gen 2:18), and His remedy was the family. Families have also been targeted for destruction by the enemy or our souls, as the attacks on them in our times are unprecedented. How can we allow attacks on such ultimate issues to prevail? This is happening on our watch. Like Esther in the Bible, we have not been called to idly stand by and watch this happen.

Esther 4:14 (ESV) For if you keep silent at this time, relief and deliverance will rise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. And who knows whether you have not come to the kingdom for such a time as this?”
