Elisha was anointed and empowered by God, as his name implies, to bring God’s salvation, deliverance, and victory to the people, that is to deal with the people’s real life problems in the sphere Elisha was sent to minster to.The miraculous interventions of God through Elisha to bring God’s power to bear in the everyday lives and problems that people face as the God’s salvation was made evident through God’s anointed and empowered man, Elisha.
